We got great value for our money at Courcheval! The room, Scott's cottage, was beautifully decorated and had fine views of the Franschhoek Valley. The location was perfect with easy access to the supermarket and charming high street. The staff treated us like family, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.
Breakfast selection could have been better with more options.

Pros of my stay at the cottages: The location was mind-blowing, feeling remote yet close to downtown. The place was super safe and private, offering splendid views. The rustic cottages had lots of character, with an incredible setting at the base of the mountains and spectacular views of the surroundings. The owner's relaxed attitude and allowance for dogs made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. It was easy to walk into town, and the farm provided an authentic and tranquil experience. The host's informality and the ease of paying for firewood and breakages added to the convenience. The cottage itself was extremely comfortable, with a cozy bed and a lovely indoor fireplace. The outdoor BBQ patio and hot tub were great additions, offering a romantic and enjoyable experience. The Kolkol hot tub worked well as a plunge pool too. The French cottage charm of the decor was a nice touch, and the fireplace and outdoor space offered shelter from the wind. this place is a must-stay in a breathtaking location, providing comfort, tranquility, and a genuine farm experience.

the location was breathtaking, with majestic mountains surrounding the beautiful valley. the decor was quaint and quirky, giving the cottage a unique charm. the staff, especially Jonathan, were friendly and welcoming, ensuring that I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. the equestrian theme added an extra touch of charm, and I enjoyed spending time with the stunning horses on the property. the beds were comfortable, and the cottage had all the amenities required for a relaxing country getaway.
The shower had a fine mist and didn't provide a strong flow of water.

The location of the property in the Franschhoek mountains was excellent, providing both close proximity to town and breathtaking scenic views of the valley. the addition of a pool was a welcome facility, especially during the scorching 38 degreesC weather. the area felt safe, and the people we encountered were friendly. the comfortable beds and complementary estate wine were nice touches. the tranquility of the surroundings made for a peaceful stay.
Disliked the lack of privacy in the main bedroom's bathroom - no door meant no privacy when using the toilet. both bathrooms lacked locks or latches.

I had an very nice stay at this cottage in Franschhoek. The location was lovely, close to the heart of town, and offered really good views of the valley and surrounding mountains. The cottage itself was comfortable, clean, and had all the necessary facilities for a self-catering stay. I particularly enjoyed the cosy wood-burning fireplace, perfect for a cold evening. The staff were helpful and friendly, providing assistance with any issues that arose. The hotel also had emergency provisions in case of load-shedding, such as light bulbs, torches, candles, and a gas stove. this was a peaceful and secure retreat that exceeded my expectations.
Nothing could have been better.

As women traveling alone, we were extremely impressed with the range of facilities and activities offered at Courchevel Cottages. the beautifully decorated cottages provided a comfortable and cozy stay, and we especially enjoyed the convenience of the swimming pool after a day of wine tasting. the friendly manager even went above and beyond, checking in on us and surprising us with complimentary bottles of pink wine. an exceptional experience.
Felt like a home away from home, no complaints at all.

I had a fantastic stay at Courchevel Cottages. the cottage itself had a quaint and quirky decor that added to its charm. the views were absolutely picturesque, and it was a pleasure to wake up to such beauty every day. the amenities provided were more than sufficient for a country getaway, and even during power outages, they had everything covered. I especially loved the equestrian theme, and Jonathan, who welcomed us, was friendly, helpful. He made sure we had enough firewood for the weekend and even took my daughter around to meet the horses when the weather didn't allow for an outride.
I can't wait to visit again and experience the horseback rides.
